Section 1: Choosing a Bed
How do I know what size to get?
The simplest rule: measure your dog from nose to tail base while they're lying down stretched out, then add a few inches. That's the minimum length of bed they'll be comfortable on. If your dog likes to curl up tight, you can size down a little; if they sprawl out flat, size up. Each product page has a sizing chart, and if you're still not sure, message us — we'd rather help you pick once than have you return one.
My dog is somewhere in between sizes — what should I do?
Go up a size, not down. A bed that's slightly too big is comfortable; a bed that's slightly too small is not. This is especially true for dogs who like to stretch out, and for puppies who are still growing.
Which bed is best for my older dog?
Most senior dogs do well with either the OG Sleek (low, easy to step onto, lots of stretch room) or the OG Sofa (bolstered sides for a cradled, secure feeling). If your dog is stiff and needs help getting on and off, the low profile of the Sleek is the easiest. If they like to nest and feel held, the Sofa is the one.
My dog has back or joint issues. Will a Tempurpups bed help?
A proper orthopedic bed gives joints real support instead of letting them press into a hard floor — that often means a more restful sleep and easier mornings. We've seen the difference it can make. That said, every dog is different, and we always recommend talking to your vet about any ongoing health concerns. A bed is a tool that can help, not a treatment.
Is it good for a puppy?
Yes. The Jr line is sized right for small and medium dogs, including growing puppies. Good support from a young age is one of the kindest things you can do for a dog's body long-term.
Section 2: The beds themselves
What's inside a Tempurpups bed?
A layered orthopedic foam core, sized and shaped for each model. The foam is chosen to keep its loft and support over time instead of compressing flat.
Are the covers washable?
Yes. Every cover zips off and is machine-washable. Wash cold, tumble dry low or hang to dry, and skip the bleach. We recommend washing the cover before first use to soften it up.
My dog chews everything. Will they destroy this bed?
Honest answer: a determined chewer can damage almost any bed, and ours is no exception. The covers are durable and made for everyday life, but they're not a chew toy. If your dog is in a heavy chewing phase, we'd suggest waiting until they're past it before investing in a premium bed.
Are the materials safe for dogs?
Yes. The materials are chosen with dogs in mind — no harsh chemical odors, no sharp edges, and a cover that holds up to regular washing.
Does it have a strong smell when it arrives?
Brand-new foam can have a faint scent for the first day or two — this is normal for any foam product. Let the bed air out in an open room for 24 hours before giving it to your dog, and it'll be ready to go.

How long does delivery take?
Most orders arrive within 7-10 days of being placed. You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships.
How much does shipping cost?

Can I return it?

What if my bed arrives damaged?
Send us a photo within a few days of delivery and we'll make it right — a replacement, a repair, or a refund, whichever fits the situation.

Who is Dixie?
Dixie was a rescue dog who lived with our family for nine years. Her story is why Tempurpups exists. You can read it on our About page.
Do you have a physical store?
Not yet — Tempurpups is online only for now. That keeps prices fair and lets us focus everything on the product itself.
